Modern meets Morocco: Character home at the beach
A rare, one of a kind, early build in Playa Pelada on almost a half acre, literally a two minute walk to the beach! The home was redesigned by Donald Loria of Prendas Loria and this now new, yet characterful house is turn key, super comfortable with lots and lots of space and truly a delight to inhabit. With 3 large bedrooms, one of them a huge studio apartment accessed from the catwalk inside the house yet with an outside private entrance suitable for private rentals, there is more than enough room for the modern extended family, many of the spaces having flexibility to suit. The upstairs master bedroom/bathroom fronts on to the pool with a juliet balcony and comes with a good size walk-in closet. The downstairs bedroom with queen bed has a separate side area that can be used for an office or studio, or further beds or closets if preferred. All of the bedrooms have their own bathroom plus a family bathroom downstairs: four total, each one with it’s own flavor of unique tile - reflecting the general feeling of the house whose style might be described as sleek boho. The home is entered via an enormous rancho, with a dining table seating 8 or more, a comfy seating area overlooking the pool, and a flex space for yoga or projects. Wall to wall sliding windows are the entrance to the great room of the house which towers at 32 feet high, arriving in the kitchen and bar area which is unquestionably the heart of the home: a wonderful social space for cooking, eating, hanging out - or sometimes a bit of computer work over on the elegant cream quartz countertops! A useful side pantry sits to one side and to the other, an intimate lounge with TV, sectional sofa and daybed also overlooking the pool and Ranchito on the far side. The house is filled with unique artwork, plenty linens, useful items, and of course furniture most of which come with. The garden is breathtaking, a hundred varieties of plants and trees, mature and well planted to manage the seasons in Nosara, with watering needed only in the dry season and last but not least - a lagoon-like pool at center which is unusually deep, keeping it nice and cool. The house is positioned appropriately on one half of the lot, the entirety of which is completely secured with courtyard style walls and fencing with gated access at both back and front; this giving way to endless possibilities for the remaining land which also with permission could be split into two lots.
